This car seat really is great - im so pleased we bought this! Fits easily into the car and is very secure. The harness is particularly good; very comfortable even when tightened and the design of the clip to the harness is fab and once locked it doesnt budge (which is a prob we had with the old car seat). The positioning of the straps and the buckle on the seat part is great - on the old one the buckle is too close to the back of the carseat which makes it harder to get such a big boy in! So lots of space! Our youngest son is very happy in this seat and often dozes off. He's only 7 months old and because of the quality of the car seat, dont feel the need to keep checking the mirror constantly to make sure he's safe! Only wish they did the same seat in a highback booster for his big brother!

I have to tell you my daughter in law has a serious issue with the design of the XP seat, not necessarily cappuchino, which is two years old and has not been previously modified or dismantled in any way. On attempting to secure her daughter, one of the shoulder straps came away in her hand and we had to send a car to collect her as the child could not be secured. The strap was found not to be broken but just unhooked from a concealed bracket within the seat which attaches the shoulder straps to the tightening straps by simply hooking on. How can this be a safe design? Mothercare have replaced the seat but is the design the same? low confidence now!

We chose this car seat as it seemed to have top marks across the board on all of the review sites we looked at.
It's simply been excellent. It looks so comfortable and from reading the safety reviews feel very confident it would do its job in that respect.
Very easy to switch from one car to another.
So far in the six months we've had it, the seat cover has been washed twice and you'd not know the difference. In fact it says to hand wash it but I've stuck it in the washing machine at 30 on a wool programme and it's come up fine.
I've even managed to put the seat in recline from the front passenger seat on many a journey.
Love the colour too.

We bought this car seat a few months ago and we love it. Our little girl looks so comfy in it and its easy to recline when they fall asleep. We move the car seat between 2 cars on a regular basis and it's so easy to do. I would recommend it to all my friends.

We bought this car seat 2 weeks ago in the sale at mothercare. Our little one is 8 months old and weighs in at 20lbs now. He just looks much more comfortable in the forward facing seat now compared to his infant maxi cosi seat, which was excellent, but I think he enjoys looking out of the window and watching us drive! It is great to recline them when they are sleeping. It looks very solid, comfortable and fantastic that it will last until they are around 4 yrs old! The harness is great and the system makes the seat extremely secure. A great purchase to invest in.
